These Terms govern your use of CirqleUp — the mobile app and this website (cirqleup.com). By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use CirqleUp. By using CirqleUp you confirm you meet this requirement and that everything in your profile is truthful and about you.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential. One account per person — no impersonation, no accounts on someone else's behalf, no bots.

3. How CirqleUp works

You build a profile, choose a mode (Dating, Friendship, or Networking), and our matching engine scores your compatibility with other users in that mode and places you in a circle of roughly ten people. Circles, chat, and the matches you're shown are generated automatically based on your profile — we don't guarantee any particular outcome, match quality, or that anyone in your circle will respond.

4. Community standards

To keep circles safe, you agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Post or send content that's illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or infringes someone else's rights
  • Use CirqleUp for commercial solicitation, spam, or scams
  • Misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app or its matching engine

We may verify, suspend, or ban accounts, and remove content, at our discretion to enforce these standards. Report concerns through the app's reporting tools — reports are reviewed and may result in another user being warned, suspended, or removed.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (profile info, photos, messages). By posting it, you give CirqleUp a license to store, process, and display it as needed to run the service — for example, showing your profile to your circle, or processing your answers to compute compatibility scores. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

6. Safety

CirqleUp helps you find compatible people; it doesn't run background checks and can't guarantee the conduct of any user. Meeting someone from a circle in person is at your own judgment and risk — meet in public places, tell a friend, and trust your instincts. Never send money to someone you've matched with.

7. Termination

You can delete your account any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, present a safety risk, or as required by law. On deletion, your profile and matches are removed per our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

CirqleUp is provided "as is." Compatibility scores are a tool to help you meet people — they're an estimate, not a guarantee of chemistry, safety, or outcome. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CirqleUp isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from your interactions with other users on or off the platform.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app.
